Getting to Warm Svaneti from the UK

The road into Svaneti. Private transfers are arranged by Justvia.
The two practical questions we hear most: how do I fly there, and how do we get around once we arrive. Here are the flight routes we found for 2026, and how each day is covered, by road or on foot. For the full day by day story and the scenery, see the Warm Svaneti tour page.
Flights
Most travellers fly into Kutaisi (KUT), the closest airport to Svaneti and the start of our group transfers. The tour is land-only, so flights are not included; the notes below are a guide to help you plan.
From London to Kutaisi is usually one stop. As of June 2026, common routes go through Berlin Brandenburg on the way out and Warsaw on the way back, with Wizz Air. Booked early, return fares often start from around £100 to £180, more in peak periods.
There are also direct flights from London to Tbilisi (British Airways and easyJet), but Tbilisi is much further from Svaneti by road, so Kutaisi is usually the better choice for this trip.
