How it started
Our founder, Jurijs Ovcinnikovs, has travelled through more than 40 countries. It was Svaneti, high in Georgia's Caucasus, that changed the direction of his own journey. Medieval stone towers stand above villages where families still welcome travellers to the table. Roads climb towards glaciers and waterfalls, a long way from the usual tourist trail. What stayed with him was not only the scenery, but the warmth of the people and how personal the whole thing felt.
He wanted travellers from the UK to discover this side of Georgia: not through a coach window or a rushed checklist, but slowly, in small groups, with local guides and time to understand each place. That idea became Justvia.
A young company, shaped by real travel
Before developing Justvia as a travel brand, Jurijs planned informal small-group journeys for friends and people within his community. Those journeys set the principles we still follow: keep groups small, choose places with care, and never make a trip feel mass produced.
Today Justvia creates small-group and tailor-made journeys to Georgia. Warm Svaneti is our flagship tour, and more routes are taking shape through the same mix of first-hand exploration and local knowledge. We are deliberately building Justvia as a focused boutique travel company, where every departure stays personal.
